Knockoff Purses

Do not carry knockoff purses or luggage.  You're just advertising that you can't afford the real thing as you attempt to pull off a deception.

Suggestion:  If limited finances dictate that expensive items must be paid on an installment plan, save your money to pay upfront for the real thing.  Do not put yourself in debt for any fashion items.  Stylish alternatives:  affordable vintage purses, and well-made luggage and bags with reduced prices at retail stores.  Also, for the price of an exorbitantly expensive purse or set of luggage, many sharp items can be added to a wardrobe.  A well-dressed woman without a purse which cost thousands of dollars is still admired as a well-dressed woman.

Hoodies

Do not wear hoodies at parties or in restaurants with linen napkins.  From the neck down, they drain you of style. 

Jeans at Funerals

Men, do not wear jeans at a funeral.  You're commemorating a life, not buying motor oil at the local hardware store.  Show some respect by placing your legs in a pair of dress pants.

Tacky Christmas Sweaters

Do not wear ugly Christmas sweaters.  Adults look ridiculous in clothing festooned with Santa, reindeer antlers, snowmen, and glittery Christmas trees.

Suits of the Rainbow

Men, do not wear suits the colors of Kool-Aid or Popsicle flavors.

Evening Gowns

Ladies, unless coming from an all-night party, do not wear an evening gown at 10am.  It looks sad, as though you only have that one dress.

Pajama Bottoms

Adults, unless you want to look like American white trash, do not wear pajama bottoms in public.

Shorts During Winter

Men, if the temperature drops below 32 degrees, do not wear shorts.  Respect the seasons.

Tube socks

Men, do not wear tube socks (especially white) with dress pants.  Does anyone think this looks good?
